When we try to control our week.

It’s Monday!  The start of a new week.  Whether the days ahead will be run-of-the-mill or something entirely new – how it all plays out is up to us.  While we can’t control the outcomes of our week, we sure can control how we respond to it.  

With such busy & chaotic lives, it’s hard not to feel whipped in the wind.  For most of us, we have numerous competing priorities that pull us in varying directions throughout the day.  Let’s be honest, it can be exhausting just thinking about it.

What if, this week, instead of allowing stress to creep in, overwhelm to take over, or disappointment to be the reaction to things not going our way – what if our response was “take a deep breath, kick off our shoes, and dance.”  What kind of example would you set for your family and friends if you met a challenge with this kind of response?  My guess – they’d think you were on to something.

Remember, you may not be able to control outcomes, but you can control how you respond to them.
